George Moate as chip leader when the deal was struck took second place and the biggest share of the loot, pocketing \u00a37,581. Safdar Pervez placed third for \u00a36,652 and Mark Stott fourth for \u00a34,523.<\/p>\n
Fifth place went to Reemster Ahmed (\u00a35,052).<\/p>\n
Going into the final table Stott was chip leader on 1,423,000, with Moate on 839,500, Richard Pearson on 651,000 and Pervez on 522,000. They were followed by eventual champion Tillotson with 453,000 chips, Kasim Mahmood on 409,000, Abdul Patel on 274,500, Ahmed on 225,000 and Patricia Brown the short stack on 120,000.<\/p>\n
Mahmood was the first casualty going out in ninth place for \u00a3900 after he moved all-in and was called by Moate, who had AK against Mahmood’s A9. The K-8-7-Q-5 confirmed Mahmood’s exit.<\/p>\n
Next to go was Brown who collected \u00a31,050 for finishing eighth. After a 56k raise by Pervez with pocket fours, she went all-in for 21k with her K-J. The board of 2-2-9-10-10 bringing no assistance to either.<\/p>\n
Patel went to the rail in seventh place after moving all-in over Tillotson’s 52k raise with pocket 10s, Patel showing A6 after Tillotson’s call. The board of J-8-6-8-3 meaning a \u00a31,450 payout for Patel.<\/p>\n
The final exit during normal play was Pearson who headed out in sixth place for \u00a31,850 after running his A7 into Pervez’s pocket eights. <\/p>\n
