Arjun Ruparel and Karl Harris dealt their way to \u00a36,500 at the 25\/25 Series event at the Grosvenor Casino Leicester, with Goliath final-tablist Ruparel taking the trophy and \u00a31,550 on top after winning their heads-up duel.<\/p>\n
A total of 41 players returned for Day 2 in Leicester from 147 starters, with Harris the chip leader on 256,300, Timothy Ovens on 192,900 in second place and Dannishi Gandhi on 190,900 in third.<\/p>\n
But by the time the eight-handed final table was reached, following Hiten Keshavala’s exit in ninth place for \u00a3740, Harris had become the short stack on 133,850 with Gandhi the chip leader on 488,500.<\/p>\n
Kirk Moyce was second in chips on 403,000 and Eleanor Gudger third on 345,000, Ruparel had 285,000, Ka Wong 262,500, Brian Fenton 215,500 and Michael Brown 193,000.<\/p>\n
Moyce was the first to depart followed by Fenton and Gudger, who had both returned for Day 2 with less than 40,000 chips.<\/p>\n
Brown finished in fifth place after his short-stack push with sevens failed to hold against K-10 and Ghandi exited in fourth, with Wong the man to miss out on the final showdown between Ruparel and Harris.<\/p>\n
