The Grosvenor 25\/25 Series continues to draw big fields producing hefty prize pools and the events in Thanet and Newcastle from 5-8 February proved no different.<\/p>\n
A field of 152 runners in Thanet created a \u00a330,400 pot of prize money, with Uzzol Miah the major beneficiary after he pocketed a career-best score of \u00a39,000 after beating Maria Evans heads-up.<\/p>\n
The numbers were even more impressive in the Newcastle leg where a bumper field of 257 entrants took the prize pool to \u00a351,400, more than double the guarantee.<\/p>\n
Walking away with the largest chunk of it was Richard Howe, who worked his way through a final table that included Xenophon Constantinou, David Parkin and Ifrikher Ali to pocket a first prize of \u00a311,450 after a three-way chop.<\/p>\n
