\"\"<\/a>The ninth edition of the Genting Poker Series gets underway in Newcastle from 6-9 February, with 15 further stops confirmed for\u00a0 2020.<\/p>\n

Twelve of the 16 scheduled GPS Main Events have a \u00a3225 entry fee but will feature a \u00a335,000 guaranteed prize pool.<\/p>\n

While the \u00a3500 buy-in \u00a3100,000 guaranteed events have also proved popular, fans of the tour will be disappointed to learn there are only four such events this year.<\/p>\n

Luton hosts the first of this quartet, with Edinburgh, Liverpool, and Resorts World Birmingham also scheduled to host a \u00a3100,000 guaranteed event.<\/p>\n

All players in Genting Poker Series main events go into a prize draw where one lucky punter will win a dream holiday worth \u00a310,000.<\/p>\n

There is also a new third-tier competition making its debut at Stoke in February, with further events running at Blackpool, Reading, Sheffield, Westcliff and Newcastle.<\/p>\n

The Super 80 is an \u00a380 buy-in no-limit hold’em tournament with \u00a315,000 guaranteed. Four day ones run from Wednesday through Saturday with the champion crowned on Sunday. Players start with 25,000 chips and play to a 30-minute blind structure.<\/p>\n
