
Blackbelt Poker won the APAT UK Team Championship at the Genting Club, Stoke, from 1-2 February 2014.
Blackbelt saw off competition from 29 other teams to take the crown in the 240-player, two-day deepstack event.
Individual honours went to the Gambling Network Forum’s Rob Hallworth, who triumphed in his heads-up battle with Nick Mazur (Blackbelt Poker). With team positions already secured, there was all to play for with the individual results having a £6,000 prize fund alongside the coveted APAT gold, silver and bronze medals. Glen Hopley (Live Pub Poker League) departed in bronze medal position.
In the team event Frome Poker Group secured bronze, with The Hendon Mob picking up the silver medal spot.
