Laurence Houghton has won the WPT National London over the first weekend in March 2014 at Aspers Stratford City.

Houghton collected £29,500, winning a terrific heads-up battle with Arvin Ravindran.

In the decisive hand Ravindran, who had just 1.6 million chips (10 big blinds after the blinds popped up before the last deal) shoved all-in with his 7S-6C after a raise from Houghton, who called with his KC-QH.

The board brought 4H-JH-9D and a KD on the turn saw Houghton home clear, with a 10C on the river confirming his victory.

Ravindran won the biggest cash of his career, £19,400, in finishing runner-up.
