Day 1B of leg three of the 2014 Genting Poker Series gets underway on Friday, 11 April 2014, at the Genting Club Westcliff in Southend.

Day 1a started with just 40 players and after nine levels of late registration it finished with 77 entries, of whom 25 made it through to day two tomorrow.

Finishing top of the tree was Josh Venman with 155,000. Southend could be good for Venman who finished runner-up to Danny Tran at last year's event.

Venman is closely followed by Callum Smith on 152,900, Karl Mahrenholz on 144100 and Ben Winsor on 133,600.
