Davey leads the way in Brighton

Day two of the Grosvenor UK Poker Tour Brighton main event gets underway on 3 May 2014 with last month's Sussex Masters runner-up Ethan Davey leading the way with 150,000 chips.

Fresh from his fifth place finish in the Genting Poker Series Southend main event in April, Ben Winsor returns with a stack of 124,800 chips, while Sunny Chattha bagged up 109,000 chips at the close of play on day 1B. Joe Greenfield (109,200) and Otto Richard (102,700), were the other big stacks to qualify from day 1A with Davey.

Winsor and Chattha were the only Day 1B players to end the night with a six-figure stack, but David Stevenson (98,300) and James Dempsey (93,200) almost joined them and among the 43 surviving players are the talented Lee Taylor (86,000), Callum Smith (59,000), Fraser Bellamy (56,300), Danny Tran (52,000), 2013 GUKPT London winner Martin Bader (46,000), Deborah Worley-Roberts (40,600), Paul Coughlan (37,200), Ellie Biessek (34,300), Joe Beevers (30,200) and Ross Boatman (25,000), and GPS Southend runner-up Leon Campbell (30,000).
