PokerCent operations suspended by regulator

The United Kindgom Gambling Commission (UKGC) has suspended the gambling licence held by Silverline Interactiv Technologies, the company that runs the independent poker room PokerCent.

According to the regulator, the suspension came after the commission ordered a review of the operator's activities following a complaint by a player who claimed he had not been able to withdraw funds from his account and accused the room of having a poor and non-cooperative customer service.

"We are concerned the licensee is operating in a manner which is not consistent with the licensing objectives in regard to ensuring that gambling is conducted in a fair and open manner," the commission said.

Because the regulation enforces the poker room not to operate during the time of testing, PokerCent believes that regular operations will restart on 1 October 2014.

If you have an account at PokerCent and you do not want to wait until 1 October to discover if you will be able to sit at the tables again, the room has set up a special procedure for withdrawals and refunds.

In order to withdraw the money available on your PokerCent account, all you need to do is contact the poker room's customer support via email at support@pokercent.com or use the live chat available on the room's website.
