Siamak pulls a Cracker at the Rendezvous

The £200 + £20 WSOP Christmas Cracker at the Rendezvous Casino in Brighton from 5-7 December attracted 113 entries, with 31 players returning on Day 2 to battle it out for a share of the £22,600 prize pool.

The lion's share of the loot went to Siamak Siamak, who beat Shah Athar heads-up to take the title and £7,320, with Athar pocketing £4,930 as runner-up.

Thein Nguyen finished in third place for £3,390, with Jack Loraine fourth, Cesar Balacios in fifth place, Andrew Parker sixth, Anthony Connor seventh, Anthony Ritchie eighth and David Pearman ninth.

The week-long festival began with Koroush Nikkhah taking down the £50 + £6 Monday re-buy for £1,000, with Alex Kraus and James Elliott dealing their way to £700 each in the Tuesday £70 + £7 re-entry, with Nikkhah finishing third for £500.

The Wednesday £75 + £10 win-the-button turbo saw Chris Macleod scoop £995 for first place, with Joshuah Sklar pocketing £990 for second.

Nikkhah bagged another £2,000 after taking down the Thursday £100 + £10 re-entry after a three-handed deal, with Hui Jin and Jubel Rahman taking £1,600 each for second and third respectively.
