Another deal and another fist full of dollars, well pounds actually, as Ali Mallu continued his amazing run of form at the G Casino in Manchester from 21-23 March 2014, when he took down the Grosvenor 25/25 Series event.

With five remaining, the players cut a deal which saw Mallu add a further £15,260 to the £31,425 he amassed after taking home the lion’s share of the money at the Genting Poker Series main event in Sheffield the week before.

Mallu also took down the six-max re-entry during leg two of the 2014 GUKPT in Manchester for a further £6,340 to add to his bankroll.

Mark Ridley pocketed £9,000 for second place in the 25/25 event, along with Lauren Render who placed third. Shehbaz Hussain took home £8,500 and Martin Parsons £7,000.

The 25/25 series now moves on to Huddersfield from 28-30 March and you can still qualify for any of the series events online via grosvenorcasinos.com.
