Price right for UK player of the year

When the Global Poker Index (GPI) updated its database for the final time in 2014 on New Year's Eve, Oliver Price was the name on top of United Kingdom player of the year standings.

Price finished the year with 3,444.07 points, beating Stephen Chidwick (3,063.69) by almost 400 points.

It was a three-horse race to the finish for who would claim second place with Jack Salter (3,003.73) and Simon Deadman (2,997.74) being pipped to the runner-up spot by Chidwick.
