Now in it’s 14th season, the 2020 GUKPT Tour promises to be the biggest one yet.
With eight legs taking place in London, Luton, Leeds, Edinburgh, Manchester and Blackpool, it comes to a conclusion with the Grand Final in November at The Poker Room in London.
Main event buy-ins vary from £560, £1110 to £1,500, with £100k, £200k and £300k guarantees, with the Grand Final buy-in set at £2,500 with a whopping £500k guarantee.
In addition to the GUKPT, Grosvenor Casinos also host the 25/25 Series, which offers a decent structure at an affordable buy-in making it a firm favourite with players. Featuring a £200+25 buy-in, £25,000 guarantee and 25,000 starting stack, the 25/25 is a two-day event with multiple day ones, starting online at Grosvenorpoker.com on the first Wednesday of each tournament.
Also in the portfolio are the Deepstacks, which feature a £115+15 buy-in and a £12,000 guarantee.
And finally there’s the big one, Goliath at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry, the flagship Grosvenor tournament which attracted an incredible 9,300 entries over its seven day ones in 2019.
The tournament has a buy-in of £100+25 and first place is guaranteed at £100,000. In 2020 Goliath will be 10 years old, so it will be bigger and better than ever with an 11-day line-up of events, culminating in the UK’s biggest ever live poker tournament main event from 1-9 August.
