It’s the 40th anniversary of the Irish Poker Open this year and the celebrations will take place from 6-13 April 2020 in the prestigious Citywest hotel, Dublin. The buy-in for the event is €1,150 and the festival will feature a full schedule of events to capture the imagination of poker players at an affordable buy-in level.
This year sees the return of the festival to the Easter weekend in Ireland and there are four starting days for the main event, kicking off on Wednesday, 8 April.
Another 31 events, including 13 championship tournaments, take place across the festival with the introduction this year of a Mixed 8 game, Irish and Tag Team Poker.
Online satellites will take place on Partypoker, PaddyPower-Betfair and a great series of packages on the iPoker Network worth €2,500 from January.
The Irish Poker Open is the longest running no-limit Texas hold’em poker festival in Europe and the second most historic in the world after the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas.
