Duncan McLellan, a humble bricklayer by trade, showed what he's made of by taking down his second UKIPT event in the space of eight months when he won the main event in Nottingham from 7-12 May 2014.

The eight-handed final table at Dusk Till Dawn began at 2pm and was done and dusted with its champion crowned in under four hours, making it the fastest final table in UKIPT history.

McLellan, who picked up a cheque for £ 94,090 in October last year after winning the main event in the Isle of Man, made short work of his opponents as the final session got underway.

Overnight chip leader Willie Elliot set the ball rolling with some super aggressive moves that saw him build up a stack of 10m.

But the first man to hit the rail was Ramey Shaio, losing a flip with AQ against McLellan's pocket fours. McLennan then delivered the second knockout blow, coming from behind with QH-JH to beat the short-stacked Anthony Flynn's AC-7S.

Super Stack Series second leg winner Juan Benito followed, with McLellan making it a hat-trick of eliminations when the Spaniard's AK ran into his pocket nines.

The most familiar face at the final table was that of Sky Poker TV pundit Ryan Spittles who couldn't gain any momentum and eventually took a stand with KS-JD but Angelo Milioto looked him up with AD-10S which held.

Elliot exited in fourth spot when McLellan led out on an AC-2C-8H-AH-AD board. The Scot, holding pocket threes, made a big re-raise all in which McLellan, holding the case ace for quads, snap-called to become a huge chip leader.

It didn't take long for McLellan to put his huge chip advantage to work, busting Trevor Pearson with AK over AJ.

The final pair agreed a chop with £34,000 left on top and moments later, McLellan scooped the lot when his turned straight held to beat Angelo Milioto's trip sixes.
